Jamal Moss aka Hieroglyphic Being has re-christened himself as The Sun God for this new 4-track EP entitled Ancient Echoes. The theme song, subtitled 'A Tribute to Larry Heard' (a huge reference point in all of Moss' works) features a tribal drum intro and strange harmonies that are recalling ancient, yet ultra-modern times. Sounds and harmonies that are exemplary for a wistful tune like this and which can be found in many of Moss' musical oeuvre.
