2026 reissue - SWARVY. is a producer and bassist from the Philadelphia area, making thoughtful and unique tracks that pulse with the spirits of underground hip-hop, jazz funk, and psych rock. Relocating to Los Angeles following a series of acclaimed beat tapes and collaborations with fellow beatmaker Mndsgn, Swarvy quickly became a fixture of that city's acclaimed independent music scene. "Scotch", his 2014 debut LP, took that well-known LA underground beat scene ethos several steps beyond the norm by adding live musicians and drawing on his own diverse palate of sounds and influences, crafting a cohesive album that spoke to his promise as an up and coming force as a musician and producer.
