After the acclaimed debut album by Tale Of Us in March 2017, the accompanying remixes are finally being released. Since the album by the two connoisseurs shows their interpretation of electronic music as a hybrid of ambient, classical and sound design in a unique way, one wonders in which direction the remixers went. These are none other than Rødhad, Scuba aka SCB, Kettenkarussell, Monoloc, Antonio Ruscito and Sebastian Mullaert. What looks like an eclectic combination sounds like it too: spherical house comes from Kettenkarussell, who remixed "Alla Sera". Sebastian Mullaert gives "Dilemma" an incredibly dreamy, melancholic note. Rødhad interprets "Ricordi" as dark, hypnotic techno at its best, while Monoloc on "Definizione dell impossible" walks away from the 4/4 beat on more abstract electronica paths. Not to be forgotten is the "Venatori" remix by Antigone, which knows how to bewitch sound design and gives the piece a dystopian aesthetic. What all of the remixers have in common is that they have delved into the original in a very artful way, creating tracks that are more than worthy of the acclaimed Tale Of Us album.
