"A very different turn for the Daptone sound - a slow funky number with a slightly-Latin mix of congas and clavinet, grooving at a pace that puts it right in the flavor of an early 70s NuYorican bomb - with a tripped out feel that we really really love! There's a snakey flute that comes into the tune for a solo about halfway through side one, blowing like it's been lifted off an SOUL album from the early 70s - and side two kicks out the groove a bit more, and even has a nice conga breakdown near the end!
