The Hundred In The Hands - Dressed in Dresden - 12" Vinyl

Warp's new Brooklyn-based babies hand over 'Dressed In Dresden' for remixes from Kyle Hall, Various and Maxime ahead of a forthcoming 6-track EP. The track was originally released on Pure Groove last year backed with a remix from DFA's Jacques Renault but these remixes go that extra step, removing it from the indie disco and replacing it somewhere more interesting. Kyle Hall applies his classical Detroit methods for a solid Shake-style version, followed by a superb slow-fast mix from Various, who create a dope tension with Juke styled bass drops and tautly calculated rhythm programming. Maxime finishes with a slab of chunky modern electro-house. Really strong twelve.
