The debut single from The Ritz features three dark and soulful Hip Hop tracks taken from the duo's upcoming album "The Night Of Day" (available in late August). On "Blown" we hear rapper Apoc trading bars with Rhymesayers' rising star Psalm One, both showcasing their double time skills over a Rel beat that screams Chicago. While on "Heartless", producer Rel gets funky on the beat tip as Apoc laments the exploits of an ex-lover, and on "It's the..." Rel steps into the booth to help Apoc declare, "The Ritz has arrived!" over a sparse, eerie beat that makes you understand the weight of that statement. Comes packaged in the new camouflage Chisel Sound jacket along with a nice bright yellow sticker that matches the labels.
