Second volume out of Chicago, Ilinois, bringing four new names to the table - DROPD (feat Charlie Cooper from TELEFON TEL AVIV, his only track under this name), MATT PAFFEL, PAUL BIRKEN (Tonewrecker) & CHANCE MCDERMOTT (Sativae). Dropd begins impressively, resolute fours, nice textures and sounds, whilst Matt Paffel sends us careering to the end of side one with tribal drums and relentless feeling for club play. Paul Birken loves his Vogel too, and will clearly develop as an exciting prospect. Chance Mcdermott's closer is further evidence that this label is evolving all the time, sounding at once classic and bewilderingly future.
