Western Lore get busy with four slices of breakbeat gold on the first part of an exciting new VA series, including tracks from the likes of label owner 'Dead Man's Chest', L own, Andrew Whitwell, Response & Sourpuss.
We kick off with bossman Dead Man's Chest's hurricane rave 'Listen II The Rhythm' where big splashy breaks are laced with emotional pads and a well-known vocal sample. It's backed by the intense flares and fury of L Own's 'Ego Trap' before Andrew Whitwell takes us to a 5am Rupture session with the ice cold 'Shadow Dancer' and Response & Sourpuss bring us back down to earth with Smith & Mighty-flavoured 90s-eseque soul jam 'Running Wild'.
