Initials MB - Twenty-Two - LP Vinyl

Ten years after its original release, Initials MB’s debut album “Twenty-Two” will be available on vinyl for the first time via Funk Night Records. This new edition has been fully remixed and remastered, revealing the full depth and richness of its sound.

A surprising bit of sunshine pop on the mostly-funk Funk Night label – a set that revels in the kind of warm harmonies you might get from the Cali scene after the Brian Wilson generation – but served up with a lean vibe that's a bit more contemporary too! MB handles a range of instruments, and seems to create these larger soundscapes with just a small bit of instrumentation – which singers come together next to his vocals over the top – all with a sound that's maybe somewhere between Louis Philippe and High Llamas
